Hello. My name is Angie. I am a sculptress and etcher. I am most noted for my limited edition bronze sculpture. In etchings, I use the soft ground technique with aquatint. I present my etchings in a very serious mood, particularly my nudes. But I have a lighter side, too, having the viewer walk away with a chuckle in their hearts, my little guys (Penguins).

My training and education began at the Pasadena Museum of Art (now the Norton Simon Museum). As I became more professional, my instruction continued at the University of Northridge and the Art League of Los Angeles.

THIS IS WHERE I HAVE BEEN

Sculpture commissions from the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences (The Emmy Awards). Joyce Hall, founder of Hallmark Cards and the Hallmark Hall of Fame. Leonard Goldenson, who engineered the joining of Paramount Pictures and the ABC Network making ABC number one in the field of broadcasting. The bronze bust of Ernie Kovacs, early innovator, pioneer and comedian in television. A second bust was installed in the executive television offices in Trenton, New Jersey, Ernie’s hometown. I am also the creator of the “Sophistiguins”, a series of humorous penguins, cartooned for the Warner Center News.

Also seen as a wall decoration in the movie “Danger in the Desert” starring Sam Elliot.

Commission for the television news network “Extra”. Commission sculpture in bronze for National Sanitary Supply in Cincinnati, Ohio. Worked on the Visa Traveler’s check at Jeffries Banknote Company. Taught sculpture at the University of Judaism in Brentwood. Recipient of five gold medals in competition.
