The Ernest Hemingway and Leonardo Di Vinci of the "light side", with the inside stories of the bright side, of the wrong side of the right side......and if I don't stop, th' whole damn thing will slide!

Angie, M.I.B.A.--originator of the Sophistiguins. Can anyone imagine filing penguins----well they're pretty much in file or in line for "Sushi or Las Vegas".

About the Artist:

My series of penguins present the humorous and often satirical side of my personality. In the art world, the little "Sophistiguins" act as a release from my more serious endeavors. For me, this covers the full spectrum: From the ultimate, to the sublime, the meeting of a deadline for an editorial or timely newspaper cartoon. Versatility indicates an artist with great latitude, imagination and the persistence to search. Many galleries and entrepreneurs fail to realize that a single technique is not evidence of an arrival at the ultimate. Woe is the artist that does not continue to seek, learn and experiment. It was Picasso who said, "it took me thirty years to learn to paint like a child".

The Sophistiguins ferment in all of us a relationship within ourselves or someone else. They relate to so many things: a cause, a situation, a friend, a job, sport and so on.
